SUMMARY:Eastern Specialty 2022
DESCRIPTION:The PHCA 2022 Eastern Regional Specialty will be held during the Winter Blast Cluster (WBC) of shows that will be held December 7th through December 11th \, 2022. \nThis cluster is held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center (GPEC)\, in Oaks\, PA. There will be 6 opportunities for points during these 5 days. \nPH breed judging is in the separate Hall E. \nEvents: \n\nPHCA 2022 Eastern Regional Specialty with Puppy & Veteran Sweepstakes will be held with the Valley Forge KC (VFKC) all-breed show on Saturday\, December 10th. This is VFKCs 75th anniversary.\nPHCA Supported entries will be held with:\n\nSouth Jersey Kennel Club (SJKC) on Thursday\, December 8th\nSouth Jersey Kennel Club (SJKC) on Friday\, December 9th.   Sweeps (puppy and veteran) to be included.\nValley Forge Kennel Club (VFKC) on Sunday\, December 11th\n\n\nThere will also be two additional conformation events for our PHs:\n\nBerks County Kennel Club (BCKC) on Wednesday\, December 7th – all breed show\nDelaware Valley Hound Association (DVHA) will hold a concurrent hound show on Saturday\, December 10th.\n\n\n\nAdditional Details: \n\nAKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS) will be offered at all 6 shows.\n4-6 month puppy competition will be offered each day in the morning.\nObedience trials will be offered every day. Rally trials will be offered every day except on Friday.\nPeeWee Competition will be offered Friday and Saturday at 12 noon.\nReserved Grooming will be available (free for PHs since we are doing a specialty).\nClinics: VFKC offers a Cardiac Clinic on Saturday\, OFA Eye Clinic on Sunday\, and a BAER Hearing Clinic on Saturday.\nAn AKC Scent work Trial will be offered on Saturday and Sunday.\nWinter Blasts Cluster’s renowned “fully-matted practice ring” will be available on all days.\n\n\nOther PH events: \n\nThe Eastern Banquet will be held on Friday evening at Chadwicks which is very convenient to the Oaks\, PA show site and the host hotel.  Eastern Specialty Honors Award will be presented at the dinner by a PHCA Officer or Board Member. There will also be numerous raffles and silent auction items.\nThe 50/50 Raffle will be held again this year.\nMerchandise: Items will be available for purchase.\nThe host hotel is the Homewood Suites\, Valley Forge. Additional hotel options will be available in the Premium Lists as well and in the Specialty Packet. RV parking (dry camping) is also available at the show site.
